Yes. The Scuba X1 uses a 180 μm fine filter basket and 3 μm MicroMesh ultra-fine filter for larger debris and fine particles. The Pilot X1 adds two-stage handheld filtration, with a 360 μm filter for larger debris and a 100 μm ultra-fine filter for smaller particles such as fine sand and dust.
How long can each cleaner run?
The Scuba X1 runs for up to 180 minutes and charges in about 4 hours on the wireless dock. The Pilot X1 runs for up to 45 minutes and charges in about 2.5 hours.
Can I leave the pool pump running while the Scuba X1 cleans?
No. For best results, turn off the pool pump while the Scuba X1 is cleaning. Running the pump can affect the cleaner’s movement, suction, and navigation.
How often should I empty the filters?
Empty and rinse the Scuba X1’s 5 L top-load basket and 3 μm MicroMesh filter after use, especially after heavy debris loads. For the Pilot X1, slide out the 1 L debris bin, rinse the filter components, and make sure the bin clicks securely back into place before use.
Why has the Scuba X1 stopped early or lost suction?
Check whether the 5 L basket or MicroMesh filter is clogged, and inspect the propeller or impeller area for debris. If the battery is low, fully recharge the cleaner on the dock before running another cycle.
Why does the Pilot X1 suction feel weak?
Check that the debris bin is fully clicked into place and that the filters are not clogged. Rinse the 360 μm and 100 μm filter layers thoroughly, then reinstall them before use. Low battery can also reduce cleaning performance, so recharge if needed.
How should I store the cleaners after use?
Rinse and dry both cleaners before storage. Place the Scuba X1 on its wireless charging dock once ready for charging, and store the Pilot X1 on its wall-mount holder with the pole and accessories between quick clean-ups.
