All-in-One Power, Precision & Poolside Perfection
Say goodbye to hours of scrubbing and skimming. The Aiper Scuba X1 Pro Max gives your pool a complete cordless clean—floor, walls, waterline, steps, slopes, and even the surface—leaving nothing but crystal-clear water behind. Perfect for inground pools up to 300 m², it handles the hard work so you can dive straight into relaxation.
Nine brushless motors and a fighter–jet–inspired TVC engine deliver 32,000 LPH suction to lift leaves, sand, pollen, and algae. OmniSense+ 2.0 mapping with 40 ultrasonic sensors and FlexiPath 2.0 navigation covers every corner (and revisits any missed spots), while WaveLine 2.0 performs steady horizontal scrubs along the waterline. The surface skimming system channels floating debris straight into the bin.

Dual-stage filtration captures it all: a 5 L top-load basket (180 μm) for large debris plus a replaceable 3 μm MicroMesh filter for ultra-fine particles. Choose from 5+3 cleaning modes to suit your routine, then let smart surface parking bring the cleaner to the edge for easy lift-and-go.
Enjoy up to 10 hours of surface cleaning or 5 hours underwater on a single charge. The integrated charging caddy makes storage and recharging simple and tidy. Built tough for Australia’s harsh conditions—high salt, high chlorine, and extreme temperatures—and backed by a 3-year warranty for complete peace of mind.
Key Features:

- All-in-One Cleaning Coverage
Cleans floors, walls, waterline, plus platforms, slopes, and beach entries – and actively skims the surface (pollen, leaves, insects, hair) for a top-to-bottom clean in a single cycle.
- Dual-Jet, High-Flow Suction
Nine-motor, dual-jet system delivers 32,000 LPH suction. An extra-wide 3 cm inlet and ultra-short flow path speed intake, while dual active front & rear rollers minimise debris escape and maintain wall adhesion.
- TVC Engine & Precision Manoeuvring
Aviation-inspired thrust vector control (TVC) with 180° multi-directional thrust for precise movement: agile wall-climbing, obstacle traversal, smooth manoeuvres around skimmers/outlets, ladder avoidance, and step handling.
- OmniSense+ 2.0 Mapping
40 ultrasonic sensors run 360° scans to build a live pool map in real time. Recognises pool geometry, platforms/beach entries, steps/ladders, skimmers/outlets, and obstacles – then feeds touch-up logic to revisit zones as needed.
- Smart Precise Detection
Full awareness, zero misses: continuously detects edges, corners, and floating debris. Surface cycles prioritise corner clean-up first, and the system flags and revisits areas after obstacles or heavy debris.

- FlexiPath 2.0 (Adaptive Path Planning)
Automatically blends route styles to suit your pool shape and debris level:

• Touch-Up "S" Pattern
Serpentine micro-passes refine missed strips after the primary clean; ideal for floor/platform touch-ups and post-obstacle revisits.

• Grid Pattern
Lane-by-lane tiling covers floors faster in rectangular zones; balanced overlap ensures consistent results and reliably even pickup.

• Y-Shape Pattern
Stable vertical scrubbing along walls and waterline; thrust distribution improves adhesion on curved sections and reduces slip-offs.

• Descending "S" Path
Step-down serpentine from shallow to deep; optimised for slopes, ledges and beach entries, avoids drop-offs while ensuring coverage.

• Edge + Random Path
Perimeter sweep to clear edges/corners, then randomised darts to break symmetry in freeform pools and hit irregular pockets of debris.
Note: FlexiPath 2.0 auto-selects and blends patterns mid-cycle based on pool shape, obstacles, and debris level, and revisits flagged zones for a complete clean.
- Waterline Perfected
WaveLine 2.0 holds a steady ~50 mm above the surface to deliver up to 60-second horizontal passes along the waterline. Dual rear jets stabilise movement for wider, even scrubs that clear algae and oils—no streaks, no missed spots.
- Smart Dual-Stage Filtration (180 μm + 3 μm)
Multi-layer system captures everything from leaves and hair to fine sand, dust, and algae – holding up to 5 L per cycle.
Heavy debris: run the 5 L top-load basket (180 μm) alone for maximum flow (ideal post-storm).
Crystal-clear maintenance: add the replaceable 3 μm MicroMesh insert (5 mm thick) to trap ultra-fine particles between deep cleans.
- Multiple Cleaning Modes
5+3 Cleaning Modes let you choose the path and fine-tune the power for any job.
- 5 Cleaning Modes
- Hero (Standard) – cleans floor → walls (scrubs waterline during wall passes) → surface for a full top-to-bottom cycle.
- Floor – floor-only cleaning using an S-pattern route (no wall climb).
- Floor+Wall – cleans floor, then walls (scrubs waterline during wall passes).
- Skimming (Surface) – surface-only cleaning for up to 3 hours.

Tap Recall and HomeComingDock makes the cleaner surface at the waterline by the pool edge and hold for 15 minutes, with an app notification for easy grab-and-go. (Standard app control works poolside/out of water.)
Note: Real-time underwater communication and in-water mode switching require the optional HydroComm Pro or HydroComm Pure. Standard app control works poolside/out of water.
- Smart Waterline Parking & Wireless Charging
At the end of a cycle, the cleaner surfaces and parks at the waterline by the pool edge for easy lift-and-go, with an app notification and a 15-minute parking window. Set it straight on the true wireless charging dock—no drying or disassembly.

- Extended Runtime
Tap start and head out – Scuba X1 Pro Max will skim for up to 12 hours or scrub underwater for up to 5 hours (3.5 hours in Max) on a single charge, easily covering pools up to 300 m². When you’re back, it’s parked at the edge and the water’s sparkling.

- Durable Build for Australian Conditions
Built for Australian conditions: runs happily at 0–40 °C and comes with a 3-year warranty. Behind the scenes it’s lab-tested to extremes – 50,000 ppm salt, 40 ppm chlorine, −20 to 70 °C temperature tests, and 1M+ component cycles – so it keeps turning up.

- Any Pool. Any Shape. Any Condition.
Made for in-ground pools up to 300 m² / 30 m. Rectangular, round, kidney, lap or freeform—it just works. On concrete, pebblecrete, Quartzon, glass bead, fiberglass, vinyl, or tiles. Frequently Asked Questions:
Which filter should I use?
- Heavy debris/opening or after a storm: run the 5 L top-load basket (180 μm) on its own for maximum flow (leaves, twigs, mud).
- Crystal-clear maintenance: add the 3 μm MicroMesh insert to trap fine sand, dust, pollen, and algae between deep cleans. Replace about every 30 uses for best results.
Pro Tip: Rinse the canister with fresh water after each use. For a deeper clean, use mild soap and a soft brush – or better yet,
use the Robotic Filter Cleaner Spray to break down oils and fine debris.
What’s the battery capacity and how long does charging take?
10,400 mAh battery; about 4 hours from 0–100% on the wireless dock. Thanks to contactless charging, no drying is required – you can place the robot on the dock right after removal.
Can I charge it outdoors?
The charging dock is rated IPX4 (light rain resistant), so outdoor charging is supported. For best results and safety, charge in a cool, ventilated spot and avoid heavy rain or high heat; indoor charging is recommended when possible.
How long will it run per charge?
Up to 5 hours underwater (floor/walls) and up to 12 hours skimming in surface-only mode. The default Skimming program runs about 3.5 hours.
Which cleaning modes are built in?
Hero (floor → walls + waterline → surface),
Floor (floor only),
Floor+Wall (scrubs waterline during wall passes), and
Skimming (surface only). More options are available via the Aiper App.

What do Eco, Auto, and Max power do?
Eco extends runtime with energy-saving suction;
Auto adapts to debris levels;
Max runs peak suction for heavy debris and deep cleans.

Do I need to remap my pool every time?
No. It maps your pool on first use. Before each clean it briefly repositions, then follows optimised routes. Updates refine paths automatically.
What water chemistry and temperature ranges are supported?
Works in water 0–40 °C; pH 7.0–7.8; free chlorine up to ~4 ppm; salinity up to ~5,000 ppm (salt pools).
Can I use it in a saltwater pool?
Yes. It’s suitable for salt pools. Keep salinity ≤ 5,000 ppm and rinse the robot with fresh water after each use to reduce wear from salt exposure.
Any charging do’s and don’ts?
Use only the supplied dock and charger. Place dock at least 3.5 m from pool, in a cool, ventilated spot, out of direct sun. Don’t put objects between dock and robot.
Can I run it with the pool pump/filter at the same time?
No – run the robot separately from other equipment (filters, cleaners, skimmers) for best results.
Why is it moving slowly (or not at all)?
- Turn off pool circulation/heating during cleaning.
- Check for obstacles or the main drain – use the hook if it can’t free itself.
- In very dirty water, the basket may clog quickly – empty and rinse mid-cycle.
Why doesn’t it climb walls?
- Confirm the chosen mode includes wall cleaning (e.g., Hero or Floor+Wall).
- Empty/clean the filter basket – clogs reduce adhesion.
- Keep water at ≥ 15 °C – very cold water can reduce climbing performance.
- Ensure pH and chemicals are within recommended ranges; off-balance water can affect traction.
Is it safe to use while people are swimming?
No – only operate the robot when the pool is empty of people and pets.
What’s the max pool size and depth?
For pools up to 300 m² and maximum depth 3 m.
It won’t turn on – what should I try?
Charge fully on the dock, then retry. Check water temperature is within 0–40 °C. If stored long-term, leave on dock longer before use.
Why did it surface before finishing?
When the battery drops to about 15%, the robot automatically surfaces and parks at the waterline for easy retrieval.
It isn’t charging – what should I check?
Ensure charger is powered, robot is seated properly, and contacts are dry. Charging won’t start outside 0–40 °C. If no response,
Contact Us.
It keeps bumping or reversing
Clean sensor lenses (fog or spots can affect detection) and restart. If stuck on the main drain, turn off pool drain during cycles.
It’s stuck at the waterline
If a small obstacle isn’t detected, it sinks within ~1 minute, switches walls or bypasses, and continues the cycle.
Cleaning performance has dropped / the unit tilts
Empty and rinse basket, clean both filters, check impeller/propeller for blockages, and ensure brushes roll freely. If problem continues,
Contact Us.
Can I leave it in the pool between cleans?
For best performance, remove after each cycle (or at least once a week) to empty and rinse the filters. Store the robot in a dry, shaded place when not in use.
How should I store it off-season?
Fully charge, clean, and dry the unit; close the port cover; store indoors in a cool, ventilated place. Top-up charge every ~6 months.
Can I control it underwater with the app?
Standard app control works poolside/out of water. For real-time underwater control, add the optional HydroComm Pro or HydroComm Pure.
Why does the firmware upgrade keep failing?
Place the robot on the charging dock and make sure you have a strong Wi-Fi signal near the dock. Weak/unstable Wi-Fi can interrupt downloads and upgrades.
