Yes. Aqua-Quip Evo2 pool lights are Australian made and manufactured to meet relevant Australian standards and regulations. Installation must be carried out in accordance with local regulations and the manufacturer’s instructions.
Do Evo2 pool lights need to be installed by an electrician?
Yes. Evo2 lights are permanently installed pool luminaires and must be installed by a suitably qualified person in accordance with AS/NZS 3000 (Wiring Rules) and local regulations.
Do Evo2 pool lights require a transformer?

Can Evo2 pool lights be operated from a wall switch?
Yes. Evo2 pool lights can be operated from a standard wall switch or a compatible controller. Fixed-colour models provide simple on/off control. Multi-colour PRO RGB+W models allow colour selection and effects via switch operation or compatible automation systems. For enhanced control, multi-colour models can also be used with the Aqua-Quip InstaTouch Smart Lighting Controller, which supports colour selection, brightness adjustment, and lighting zone control.
Are Evo2 pool lights compatible with pool controllers and automation systems?
Yes. Evo2 multi-colour lights are manufactured and programmed to operate with a range of third-party controllers, but the light’s internal program must match the colour-changing protocol used by your controller for correct operation and synchronisation. If you are using an automation system, it is common for the lights to be supplied programmed to suit that controller.
