The AstralPool Mineral Guard Replacement Cartridge renews the mineral sanitising performance of your Mineral Guard system, helping maintain cleaner, healthier pool water with less reliance on chlorine.
Using Nature2 Technology, it releases controlled levels of silver and copper ions into your pool as water flows through the cartridge, helping control bacteria and algae while allowing your pool to operate effectively with up to 50% less chlorine.
Unlike UV or ozone systems that only work while water is circulating, Mineral Guard leaves residual sanitising minerals in the water for ongoing protection. The cartridge works automatically within your existing Mineral Guard housing and should be replaced every 6 months for continued performance.

Mineral Guard is a secondary sanitiser and must always be used with a primary sanitiser such as chlorine or a saltwater chlorinator.
Australian pool standards recommend maintaining a minimum residual chlorine level of 1 ppm.
Do not use Mineral Guard with:
- Bromine sanitisers
- PHMB or biguanide sanitisers
- Copper-based algaecides
- Soda ash products
These chemicals may interfere with the mineral sanitising process.
