How do I clean the cartridge?
Turn off the pump, release the air bleed to relieve pressure, and remove the lid with the hand lock ring. Remove the cartridge and rinse between the pleats with a garden hose. For oils, calcium, or stubborn debris, soak the element overnight in a suitable cartridge cleaning solution before rinsing.

How do I know when to clean the cartridge?

It depends on bather load and debris. Many pools need cleaning every few weeks in summer, less often in winter. Always clean if the pressure gauge shows +50 kPa or at least once a year to maintain warranty coverage.
Does it need backwashing like a sand filter?
No. Cartridge filters are backwash-free, saving water and simplifying care. Cleaning is done by removing and hosing the cartridge.
What is the maximum pressure and temperature rating?
