The X Series suits a wide range of residential pools, including in-ground, above-ground, freeform, plunge, vinyl-lined, concrete and lap pools. The recommended pool size is 2 m × 4 m and larger, with a relatively vertical wall where the Swim Jet can be positioned securely.
What if my pool has a ledge, bench or unusual pool edge?
A relatively vertical pool wall gives the Swim Jet the best installation position. A bench, ledge or large coping overhang may interfere with placement, so another section of the pool may be more suitable.
Can it be used in a saltwater or vinyl-lined pool?
Yes. The X Series is suitable for saltwater pools and vinyl pool liners. After use in saltwater, rinse the Swim Jet thoroughly with fresh water before storage.
How is the Swim Jet powered and charged?
The Swim Jet runs from its dedicated rechargeable Power Box, so no mains power connection is required while swimming. For charging, use the supplied adapter with the Power Box positioned at least 3.5 m away from the pool.
What do the IP68 and IP65 ratings mean?
The Swim Jet is IP68 rated for underwater operation, while the Power Box is IP65 rated for protection against dust and water spray. The Power Box stays poolside rather than in the water and should be kept out of rain during operation.
Can the Swim Jet be used near a pool skimmer?
Yes. The Swim Jet can be positioned near a skimmer, but the skimmer system and Swim Jet should not be operated at the same time.
How does the iGarden app connect to the Swim Jet?
The iGarden app uses Bluetooth and a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network during setup. Once connected, you can adjust the flow, manage workout duration, review training history and access the model's available app-controlled modes.
