Iluka Eliminate is a fast-acting, chlorine-free shock treatment for spa and hot tub water. It helps oxidise contaminants that can build up between regular sanitising, improving water quality and helping your spa feel fresher, clearer and more comfortable to enjoy.

By reducing combined chlorine levels and breaking down organic waste, Eliminate assists Iluka Purify and your spa filter to work more efficiently while helping restore sparkle to the water.

How to Use

Calculate the required dose according to your spa volume and water condition.
Ensure the pump and filter are turned on.
Sprinkle Iluka Eliminate evenly over the surface of the spa water.
Allow the product to dissolve. It should dissolve within 2–3 minutes.
The spa or hot tub may be used 15 minutes after treatment.

Maintenance Dose: Add 50g per 1,000 litres of spa water
Frequency: Use monthly or as required depending on water condition
Heavy Bather Load: Add an additional maintenance dose after heavy spa use

Important Usage Information

Iluka Eliminate is intended only for shock treatment of spas and hot tubs.
It is not a sanitiser and does not replace the need for an approved sanitiser. Iluka Purify is your sanitiser.
Dosages are intended as a guide. Always follow the dosage instructions on the product label.
Always ensure the pump and filter are operating when adding Iluka Eliminate to spa water.
Always add chemicals to water, never water to chemicals.

As part of regular spa care, pH should be maintained between 7.2–7.6 and Total Alkalinity between 125ppm–150ppm.

No. Eliminate is a shock treatment, not a sanitiser. It oxidises contaminants to support sanitiser efficiency, while Purify remains the sanitiser in the Iluka routine.

When should I use Eliminate?

Use it as a monthly maintenance shock, or when the water needs extra oxidising support. An additional dose is also recommended after heavy bather load or when the spa has been used more than usual.

How soon can the spa be used after treatment?

The spa or hot tub may be used 15 minutes after treatment, once the product has dissolved and the water has circulated.

Can Eliminate help with spa odours?
