How to Use

  1. Remove the filter cartridge from the filter compartment.
  2. Rinse the filter with fresh water.
  3. Thoroughly spray the filter with Iluka Klenz, taking care to penetrate the filter veins.
  4. Leave the filter to stand for a minimum of 15 minutes.
  5. Rinse the filter thoroughly with fresh water from a hose pipe.
  6. Return it to the filter compartment of your spa or hot tub.

Important Usage Information

  • Wear protective gloves when using this product.
  • Use outdoors or in a well-ventilated area, and avoid use on windy days.
  • Do not return the filter to the spa or hot tub until it has been thoroughly rinsed and flushed.
  • Foaming may occur during rinsing. Continue rinsing until foaming stops.
  • Always follow the directions on the product label.

Do I need to soak the cartridge filter?

No. Klenz uses a no-soak formula. Spray it directly onto the filter, allow it to stand for at least 15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with fresh water.

Why is foam appearing when I rinse the filter?

Foaming can occur while rinsing because the cleaner is lifting residues from the filter. Continue rinsing with fresh water until the foaming stops before returning the cartridge to the spa or hot tub.

What if the filter is still dirty after cleaning?

Heavily soiled filters may need a second application. Repeat the cleaning process, then rinse thoroughly with fresh water until foaming stops.

Can I use Klenz on all cartridge filters?
