Iluka Seachange is a natural spa clarifier made with Chitosan, derived from the crushed shells of crabs, prawns and lobsters. It helps change the appearance of spa and hot tub water by removing oils, body fats and fine suspended particles that can build up in hot water environments.

Important Usage Information
- Dosages are intended as a guide. Always follow the dosage instructions on the product label.
- Do not overdose.
- Use with the spa pump and filtration system operating.
- Always add chemicals to water, never water to chemicals.
As part of regular spa care, pH should be maintained between 7.2–7.6 and Total Alkalinity between 125ppm–150ppm.

No. Seachange is a natural clarifier that helps remove oils, body fats and fine suspended particles. It does not replace a spa sanitiser, so sanitiser levels still need to be maintained separately.
Why does spa water get oily or foamy?
Warm spa water can collect body fats, oils, lotions and other residues from regular use. These can affect water appearance, create foam and contribute to scum lines around the waterline.
How does Seachange help the filter?
Seachange helps collect fine suspended particles so they are easier for the filter to remove. This supports clearer water and helps the filtration cycle work more efficiently.
Why does my spa water still look dull or foamy after heavy use?
Heavy spa use can add more oils, body fats, lotions and fine suspended matter to the water. These can affect the appearance of the water, cause foam and contribute to scum line build-up. Add an additional dose of Seachange after heavy use and keep the filtration system running so the collected particles can be removed properly.
Will Seachange remove an existing scum line from the spa surface?
Seachange helps prevent scum line build-up by removing the oils and body fats that contribute to it. Existing residue on the spa surface may still need to be wiped away as part of normal spa cleaning.
