The hose is the life line of the pool cleaner. If the hose is too stiff, the cleaner will perform sluggishly being dictated by the hose, rather than the cleaner dictating to the hose.
Kreepy hoses have to be thin walled, so only the best materials are used which ensures the hose will last many, many years resisting the damaging effect of the sun. Inside the hose is a very thin smooth bore which allows maximum flow to the pool pump.
