How to Use
For sand, glass or zeolite filters – Method 1
- For an average size 24" to 26" filter, add 1 litre of Enviro-Clean into the skimmer box.
- Backwash for 3 to 5 minutes.
- Resume normal pool filtration.
For sand, glass or zeolite filters – Method 2
- Turn off the filter and remove the multi-port valve.
- Pour 1 litre of Enviro-Clean directly into the filter.
- Reinstall the multi-port valve.
- Allow to soak for about 1 hour, then backwash to waste.
- Resume normal pool filtration.
For cartridge and D.E. filters
- Remove the cartridge or D.E. septums and hose down to remove surface debris.
- Dilute Enviro-Clean with cold water at a rate of 50:1 in a container large enough for the cartridge or septum to be submerged.
- Place the cartridge or septum into the solution and soak for between 30 and 60 minutes. Stirring periodically may assist with the cleaning process.
- Remove from the solution and rinse thoroughly.
- Reassemble the filter and resume normal pool filtration.
