How It Works

Enviro-Clean works by breaking down oils, body fats, suntan lotions, grime, organic build-up, metals, and calcium deposits that collect on filter media.

By making this build-up soluble, it becomes much easier to remove through rinsing and backwashing, helping restore cleaner filter media and more effective filtration performance.

This makes Enviro-Clean a practical way to both thoroughly clean and rejuvenate filters across a wide range of filter types.

How to Use

For sand, glass or zeolite filters – Method 1

1. For an average size 24" to 26" filter, add 1 litre of Enviro-Clean into the skimmer box.
2. Backwash for 3 to 5 minutes.
3. Resume normal pool filtration.

For sand, glass or zeolite filters – Method 2

1. Turn off the filter and remove the multi-port valve.
2. Pour 1 litre of Enviro-Clean directly into the filter.
3. Reinstall the multi-port valve.
4. Allow to soak for about 1 hour, then backwash to waste.
5. Resume normal pool filtration.

For cartridge and D.E. filters

1. Remove the cartridge or D.E. septums and hose down to remove surface debris.
2. Dilute Enviro-Clean with cold water at a rate of 50:1 in a container large enough for the cartridge or septum to be submerged.
3. Place the cartridge or septum into the solution and soak for between 30 and 60 minutes. Stirring periodically may assist with the cleaning process.
4. Remove from the solution and rinse thoroughly.
5. Reassemble the filter and resume normal pool filtration.

• Pack size: 20 litres.
• Sand, glass or zeolite filters: 1 litre per treatment.
• Cartridge and D.E. filters: dilute at 50:1 with cold water.
• Coverage: up to 20 treatments for sand, glass or zeolite filters at 1 litre per treatment.
