How It Works
Shock ’N’ Swim uses a highly concentrated oxygen compound with a minimum active oxygen content of 13.5%, significantly higher than monopersulphate or perborate-based alternatives.
When dissolved in water, it converts to hydrogen peroxide and sodium carbonate. The hydrogen peroxide provides the primary oxidising action and is recognised for its bacteriostatic properties, while the resulting sodium carbonate contributes only a minimal pH increase at the recommended dose.
This oxidation process targets combined chlorine and dissolved organic residues, helping restore overall water freshness and clarity while allowing sanitisers to continue operating efficiently.
How to Use
- With the pump and filter operating, sprinkle the product evenly over the water surface.
- The product dissolves within 2–3 minutes. Any temporary discolouration clears shortly after.
- The pool or spa may be used 15 minutes after treatment.

- Swimming pools: Use 500 g to treat 50,000 litres of pool water.
- Spas & hot tubs: Use 50 g to treat 5,000 litres of water.
- Fountains: Use 25 g to treat 5,000 litres of water.
