How to Use

  • Test pool water to confirm phosphate levels before treatment.
  • Ensure pool water pH is between 7.2 and 7.8.
  • Check filter pressure before dosing and clean/backwash the filter if required.
  • With the pump running, add the measured dose slowly through the skimmer box.

  • Maintenance dose: Add 250mL per 50,000 litres once per week.

  • Suitable for ongoing phosphate maintenance to help keep levels as close to zero as possible.
  • For phosphate levels of 2.0 ppm or above, Lo-Chlor Starver X is recommended first, then continue weekly maintenance with Starver M once levels are below 2.0 ppm.
  • Compatible with all registered sanitisers, pool treatments, and equipment.
  • Does not affect probes on automatic liquid feeders or other dosing units.
  • Suitable for use in fishponds, saltwater and freshwater aquariums when used as directed.

When adding larger volumes (around 1 litre or more), monitor filter pressure during dosing. A small rise in pressure can indicate efficient phosphate capture — as a guide, an increase of about 5 kPa is considered ideal.
