Why isn’t my GT Freedom climbing the walls?
Wall climbing can be affected by several conditions, including unbalanced water chemistry, a full or blocked filter basket, a battery level below 30%, or strong return jets interrupting the robot’s movement.
What do the indicator lights on the control panel mean?
The lights display the selected cleaning duration. One light indicates a 30-minute cycle, two lights indicate a one-hour cycle, and three lights indicate a two-hour cycle. When no duration lights are showing, the robot will run continuously until the battery is depleted.
Can I use the WiFi app while the robot is in the water?
No. Wi-Fi signals cannot penetrate water, so the robot cannot receive commands or send notifications while submerged.
What Wi-Fi requirements does the robot need for app connectivity?
The robot connects to the app using a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. The app cannot pair or operate through a 5 GHz network.
