Where should I place the diluted acid container and pH Doser?
The diluted acid drum should always be stored in a well-ventilated area, at least 1 metre away from pool equipment to prevent corrosion. The pH Doser itself should be mounted within 2 metres of the drum, but no higher than 1.5 metres above it.
How do I connect the pH Doser?
The Doser connects directly to the InverCHLOR controller via the DOSER port using the supplied cable. The included tubing is used for suction and dosing lines, with a one-way injection tee to prevent backflow into the drum.

Do I need to dilute the acid before use?
Yes. Pool acid must be diluted with water at a minimum ratio of 2:1 (water to acid). Always add acid to water, never water to acid, to prevent dangerous reactions.
Can the pH Doser run on its own?
No. The pH Doser operates only when connected to a Madimack InverCHLOR Salt & Mineral Pool Chlorinator. It works in sync with the InverCHLOR’s timers and settings.
How much acid does it dose per day?
The system can deliver up to 999 ml/day, adjustable in 10 ml increments, depending on your pool’s size, usage, and chemical balance.
What kind of acid should I use?
Use standard hydrochloric acid (pool acid), typically at 32% strength, always diluted before use. Do not use sulphuric acid.
How often does it need maintenance?
Check acid levels and for leaks weekly, lubricate the squeeze tube every 6 months, and replace the squeeze tube yearly.
