A Design You Can Depend On
Renowned for its reliable, booster-free operation, the Polaris Vac-Sweep 360 delivers exceptional pressure-side cleaning without the need for a separate booster pump. Powered by three high-efficiency vacuum jets, the 360 sweeps, scrubs, and vacuums the floors and walls of in-ground pools of any size or shape.
It connects directly to a dedicated pressure line and captures both fine particles and larger debris like leaves and pebbles in its signature filter bag, reducing wear on your pump and filter while keeping your pool spotless.
The Polaris 360 features a patented 3-wheel design, large throat intake, and automatic back-up valve that activates every 3.5 minutes for uninterrupted, full-coverage cleaning. This version includes MaxTrax Tyres, ideal for concrete, pebblecrete, Quartzon, and glass bead pool surfaces.

Enhanced Water Circulation
Helps return clean, filtered water throughout the pool–supporting even heat distribution and improved water clarity.

Benefits:
Sweeps, scrubs, and vacuums the floor and walls of pools of any size or shape.
- Efficient, Powerful Cleaning
Triple Venturi jets provide strong suction and quick cleaning, finishing most pools in under three hours.
Large intake throat and reusable filter bag capture leaves, gum nuts, pebbles, and more.
- Protects Your Pool Equipment
Filter bag traps debris before it reaches the pump or filter, reducing system strain and wear.
- Stays Unstuck, Keeps Cleaning
Automatic back-up valve activates every 3.5 minutes to keep the cleaner moving and avoid hang-ups.
Highlights:

- Quick-Release Filter Bag
The Polaris 360 captures debris in its own single-chamber filter bag before it reaches your pump or filtration system. This reduces filter cleaning by up to 80% and helps extend the life of your equipment. The quick-release design makes emptying fast and easy.
- All-Wheel Belt Drive
The all-wheel belt drive system ensures smooth, consistent movement across all pool surfaces for reliable and uninterrupted cleaning.
- Triple Vacuum Jets
Powered by three Venturi jets, the Polaris 360 delivers strong suction for efficient sweeping, scrubbing, and vacuuming—without the need for a booster pump.
- Large Throat Intake
A wide 57 mm vacuum inlet allows the cleaner to easily capture large debris such as leaves, gum nuts, and pebbles. Ideal for pools with heavy debris loads.
- Translucent Housing
The durable, UV-resistant shell offers long-lasting protection against sun damage and weathering, helping the cleaner retain both its appearance and performance.

Key Features:
- MaxTrax Tyres: Provide excellent grip and stability on concrete, pebblecrete, Quartzon, and glass bead surfaces.
- Triple Jet Propulsion: Powered by three Venturi jets using return line pressure for strong, efficient booster-free cleaning.

Efficient, Booster-Free Cleaning
The Polaris Vac-Sweep 360 delivers reliable pressure-side performance without a booster pump—offering fast 3-hour cleaning cycles, whole-pool coverage, and powerful debris collection for all in-ground pools.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Cleaner Gets Stuck on Steps or Obstacles (Over 3.5 Minutes)
- Check the wheel speed — target is 28–32 RPM.
- Lift the back-up valve out of the pool and verify it cycles on and off every 3.5 minutes.
- Adjust the thrust jet direction — set to 11 o’clock for better wall climbing and turning.
- Remove unnecessary pool hardware or install a Ladder Guard Kit (Part #W7230412).
- Check if the filter bag is full and empty if necessary.
Cleaner Slides on Tiled or Fibreglass Surfaces
- Verify all three wheels have Polaris PosiTrax Tyres (Part #W7230211) installed.
- Check that wheel RPM is in the proper range (28–32 RPM).
Cleaner Moves Too Fast or Misses the Pool Bottom
- Check wheel RPM — if over 32 RPM, reduce water flow using the pressure relief valve.
- Verify the back-up valve is cycling correctly every 3.5 minutes.
Cleaner Doesn’t Move But There Is Pressure
- Check for debris in the in-line filter screen (inside Quick Disconnect).
- Clean pump baskets, skimmer basket, and main filter.
- Check all hose connections for leaks.
- Check wheel RPM — increase flow if below 28 RPM.
Cleaner Is Sluggish or Weak
- Clean the in-line filter screen and pump/skimmer baskets.
- Empty the filter bag if full, especially with sand or leaves.
- Inspect hoses and swivels for air or water leaks.
- Verify RPM is within 28–32 and adjust flow if needed.
Hose Gets Tangled or Coils Up
- Verify hose is trimmed to proper length and laid flat before use.
- Check that all swivels rotate freely during operation.
- Ensure feed hose is floating properly and not waterlogged.
Cleaner Only Turns in One Direction
- Adjust the thrust jet to encourage more balanced turning.
- Verify hose floats are positioned correctly for proper buoyancy.
- Check that feed hose isn’t curved where it connects to the cleaner.
- Ensure the swivel on the feed pipe rotates freely.
Cleaner Doesn’t Back Up
- Verify back-up valve activates every 3.5 minutes.
- Check wheel RPM is within 28–32.
- Empty the filter bag if full.
- Shake the head float — replace if waterlogged.
- Ensure feed hose is floating evenly.
Sweep Hose Gets Sucked Into the Cleaner
- Ensure the sweep hose orifice is not blocked by the scrubber.
- Adjust sweep hose to a gentle motion using the adjustment screw.
Sweep Hose Sprays Water Out of Pool
- Tighten the sweep hose adjustment screw to reduce spray force.
- Replace the sweep hose scrubber if worn or missing.
- Add a TailSweep PRO (Part #TSP100) to reduce overspray.
Cleaner Doesn’t Cover the Entire Pool
- Ensure the feed hose reaches within 15 cm of the farthest point.
- Set the thrust jet to 11 o’clock for more randomised cleaning patterns.
- Turn cleaner upside down and check for 3 consistent vacuum jet streams.
Cleaner Runs in Circles on Its Side
- Empty the filter bag if it’s weighing the cleaner unevenly.
- Check the head float — replace if water has entered.
- Verify hose floats are spaced and functioning properly.
Cleaner Doesn’t Climb Pool Walls
- Check that wheel RPM is in range (28–32 RPM).
- Set the thrust jet to 11 o’clock.
- Ensure the head float is positioned all the way forward.
- Verify hose length and cut if necessary to pool size.
- Check vacuum jets for even, unobstructed flow.
How Do I Adjust the Wheel RPM?
If below 28 RPM:
- Clean the filter screen, pump basket, and skimmer basket.
- Check for hose or swivel leaks.
- Increase flow using the diverter valve or remove the restrictor disc if present.
If above 32 RPM:
- Use the pressure relief valve on the Quick Disconnect to reduce flow.
- If needed, adjust the diverter valve to lower pressure to the cleaner.
Always measure RPM while the cleaner is submerged and running in the pool.
How Do I Store the Cleaner?
Remove the cleaner during winter or extended periods of non-use. Drain all water, rinse and dry thoroughly. Store in a dry, shaded area. Avoid direct sunlight and do not tightly coil the hose during storage.
How Often Should I Empty the Debris Bag?
Empty when the bag is about half full or sooner if it contains sand or heavy debris. A dry bag is easier to clean—alternate between two bags if needed.
