How long does the Robo-Skimmer Mk2 run on a full charge?
With a full battery, it runs up to 20 hours in Normal mode or around 10 hours in Sport mode — enough to cover most pools, even over multiple days.
How long does it take to fully charge?
Using the supplied adapter, a full charge takes about 2–3 hours. With solar charging, times vary depending on sunlight. In strong sun, the battery can reach 85% in about 6 hours and 100% in around 10 hours.
Can it charge and work at the same time?
Yes, it can operate while charging via solar power. If using the adapter, it will only charge and won’t operate until unplugged and placed back in the pool.
Does it work at night?
Yes — as long as there is sufficient battery charge, the Mk2 can run after dark. Runtime will depend on the charge it received during the day or from the adapter.
Is it safe for saltwater pools?
Yes. It uses salt-tolerant SCT brushless motors designed for reliable performance in saltwater.
Can it handle large leaves and heavy debris?
