Deck Mounted Pool Slides:

Manufactured from high-quality corrosion-resistant material, S.R.Smith deck mounted pool slides are engineered to deliver serious fun, season after season! Ranging in size from the SlideAway at just over 1.5m, to the towering TurboTwister that tops out at 2.6m, they resist fading and scratching, and retain their luster for years to come. There is an integrated water delivery system on each S.R.Smith slide that provides high-volume water fun for a slippery, sloshy ride. And for salt pool environments the pool slides are salt friendly!

Slide Placement Guidelines:

The Pool Industry Association has provided these guidelines for slide placement. The slides can be easily set-up and removed from the deck in just minutes. From the top of the ladder, a flume that curves down to the left is a left-curve slide, and a flume that curves down to the right is a right-curve slide.

The critical dimensions for placement of the SlideAway:

• The slide exit runway surface shall not exceed 51 cm above the water surface.
• The slide shall be positioned so that all water flowing off the runway exit drops into the pool. The recommended overhang is 9 cm minimum.
• The minimum depth of water below the exit lip of the slide shall be 91 cm and increase to 137 cm at Pt. A, which is a distance of 137 cm from the exit lip of the slide.
• A minimum depth of 137 cm shall be maintained at a distance of 274 cm along the extended centerline of the slide from Pt. A.

Minimum clearance area in front of the slide:

• The minimum clearance distance on either side of the extended centerline of the slide runway shall not be less than 107 cm at a point no less than 76 cm from the exit lip of the slide and extending a distance of 411 cm in front of the slide.

Caring for Your Swimming Pool Slide:

Use a non-abrasive soap and water when possible. Always try a test spot of a product before applying to a larger area and read the label instructions on any cleaner carefully before applying it to the slide.
You may safely use: Windex with Ammonia®, Formula 409®, Fantastik®, Soft Scrub®, Scrubfree, Tackle®, Grass Plus®, Topjob®, Tilex®.

DO NOT USE: Dow with Scrubbing Bubbles®, Lysol® Disinfectant, Ajax® Cleanser, Windex® with vinegar, White Cap®, Ajax® Liquid, Soft Scrub®.
