Acoustic Box 1100mm Wide Soundproof Pump and Filter Cover / Enclosure

The Acoustic Box is a soundproof enclousure, specifically designed for swimming pool equipment. It has a unique state-of-the art design which requires less than 5 minutes to assemble and no special tools are required. The box is available in different sizes and colours.

The Pool Filter & Pump Cover is a robust and durable solution designed to protect your pool equipment while reducing noise. Made from high-quality 0.9 mm thick BlueScope™ galvanized steel and finished with Dulux Colorbond™ powder coating, this cover is engineered to withstand the harsh Australian environment and extreme weather conditions. It features industrially affixed 20mm thick acoustic foam to reduce noise by up to 80%, certified by an independent Acoustic Engineer. With easy assembly, superior ventilation, and child safety features, this cover ensures both safety and convenience.

Smaller models (less than 1100mm wide) can house a filter, pump, chlorinator, and power points. Larger models (over 1100mm wide) can accommodate multiple pumps, spa blowers, chlorinators, and more.

  • Standard Enclosure. Includes a rear panel.
  • Backless Enclosure. No rear panel; features two wall strips and a horizontal bridge. Suitable for equipment within 50mm of a wall. Adds 50mm to the depth.

• Versatile Sizes & Configurations:

• Optional Footings & Feet:
  • Feet. Optional for leveling on sloping bases, allowing up to 30mm adjustment. Two feet provided for each corner.
  • Footings. Chemically treated timber pine sleepers, 45mm wide, pre-drilled, and ready to assemble. Provide additional protection against corrosion and are necessary for uneven ground. Increases enclosure height by 90mm.
• Slab Size. For concrete slabs, allow an additional 25mm around the box dimensions for proper fit.
• Ventilation. 25mm ventilation gaps at the front and back ensure adequate airflow and allow for wiring and conduits to pass through. Tested by an Industrial Engineer for effectiveness.
• Acoustic Foam. 20mm thick, 29/400 grade Australian-made acoustic foam reduces noise by 80-81%, certified by an independent Acoustic Engineer. Treated with Ultra Fresh protection against dust mites, bacteria, and fungi.
• Material & Galvanization. Made from 0.9mm steel hot-dipped in zinc, meeting Australian and International standards (AS/NZS 1365:1996 (R2016), AS 1397-2011, ISO 9001:2015). The coating ensures durability and resistance to rust.
• Drilling Through Panels. Panels can be core drilled for pipework and electrical cabling. Use silicone sealant on drill cuts to minimize rust risk.

Backless Design. Best for when there is less than 5cm from the wall and the equipment. Additional brackets to afix the back to the wall or fence are included. Note: it adds 50mm to the depth

The Acid Feeder Box. Protect your equipment, children, and pets by enclosing your acid drum in the lockable Acid Feeder Box. Suitable for enclosing 15L acid drums

Feet for levelling/raising. Feet for levelling site/raising off the ground (8 pieces)

Extra Internal Timber Panel. Allows for mounting of additional electrics

H3 Timber Footings. H3 treated timber, cut to exact size and pre drilled with timber screws. Ready to assemble with additional protection for the box against corrosion by preventing contact with the ground

Grilled door / panel. A panel with a grill for additional ventilation (required when covering heaters / other types of compressors)

Notes with regards to measurements:

1. The external measurements are actually the same as the internal measurements throughout the box with the exception of the bottom and top of the box - where the metal bends to allow for the acoustic foaming to be housed.
2. All boxes also come in 'Backless configuration' - Pls allow an additional 50mm in depth for Backless models
3. It is advisable to allow for an additional 10-20mm on all sides of your Concrete slab (if laying the box on a slab)
4. The lid requires 45mm of clearance at the back to fully open. So Pls allow this (or more) if placing the box against a wall or other hard surfaces.
