How It Works
SpaCare Rapid Shock contains a highly concentrated oxygen compound that oxidises organic contaminants in spa and hot tub water. This oxidation process helps reduce and eliminate combined chlorine levels and break down residual contamination that regular sanitising may miss.
It also contains a clarifying agent to help improve water sparkle and overall presentation. Because the formula is fast dissolving and quick acting, treatment begins rapidly after dosing and the spa or hot tub may be used 15 minutes later.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why would I use a non-chlorine shock in my spa or hot tub?
A non-chlorine shock is used to oxidise organic contaminants and reduce combined chlorine as part of regular spa maintenance, helping keep the water fresher and more comfortable to use.
Is Rapid Shock a sanitiser?
No. Rapid Shock is not a sanitiser and does not replace the need for an approved sanitiser in the spa or hot tub.
How soon can I use the spa after adding it?
The spa or hot tub may be used 15 minutes after treatment.
Why is an extra dose recommended after heavy spa use?
Heavy bather load introduces more contamination into the water, so an extra dose is recommended to help oxidise the additional organic matter.
What does combined chlorine mean in spa water?
Combined chlorine forms when chlorine reacts with contamination in the water. Rapid Shock is formulated to help reduce and eliminate combined chlorine levels as part of weekly water care.
Will Rapid Shock help the water look better as well as treat it?
Yes. It contains a clarifying agent that helps give spa water extra sparkle and a brighter appearance.
Can I use this in place of my usual weekly sanitiser?
