How to Use

  1. Test chlorine and pH using a reliable test kit with fresh testing reagents.
  2. Determine the required amount based on spa volume.
  3. Dose the spa in the evening when the spa is not in use.
  4. Add the measured amount to the spa water as directed.
  5. Maintain the correct free chlorine level for several hours before and during bathing activity.
  6. Continue daily testing and adjustment as required.

  • Dosage: 6g per 1,000 litres of water
  • Dosage: 60g per 10,000 litres of water
  • Minimum Free Chlorine Level in Cold Water: 2mg/L
  • Minimum Free Chlorine Level Above 26°C: 3mg/L

Important Usage & Compatibility Information

  • Do not use this product in indoor pools or commercial spa installations.
  • Test chlorine levels and pH daily using a reliable test kit with fresh reagents.
  • If pH falls below the required level, use SpaCare pH & Alkalinity Increaser. If pH rises above the required level, use SpaCare pH & Alkalinity Reducer.
  • Test stabiliser levels fortnightly through your local pool shop or by using a reliable test kit.
  • Once stabiliser levels reach 50mg/L, stop using this product and use an unstabilised chlorine product until stabiliser levels fall below that level.
  • Stabiliser levels must not be allowed to exceed 100mg/L.
  • Do not overdose.

Why do stabiliser levels matter with this sanitiser?
This is a stabilised chlorine product, so stabiliser can build up over time. If stabiliser levels become too high, chlorine becomes less effective at controlling algae and bacteria.
What should I do if stabiliser reaches 50mg/L?
Stop using this product until stabiliser levels fall below 50mg/L, and use an unstabilised chlorine product to maintain free chlorine levels in the meantime.
Why should stabiliser never be allowed above 100mg/L?
At very high stabiliser levels, chlorine performance is reduced further, making it harder to maintain effective algae and bacteria control.
Why is daily testing important with spa sanitiser?
Spa water conditions can change quickly, especially with warm water and regular use. Daily testing helps keep chlorine and pH in the right range for reliable sanitising performance.
Can I use this in an indoor spa or commercial installation?
No. This product is not for use in indoor pools or commercial spa installations.
Why does the required free chlorine level change with water temperature?
Warmer water places greater demand on sanitising control, which is why the minimum free chlorine level is higher when the water temperature is above 26°C.
