Opal XL Cartridge Filters are engineered to accommodate an extra-large filter cartridge, significantly increasing their dirt-holding capacity and reducing the need for frequent maintenance. The filter features a dome lid that facilitates quick and easy access to the cartridge, allowing for straightforward removal, cleaning, and reinstallation within minutes. These filters are particularly suitable for settings where backwashing is impractical or in regions where water conservation is crucial.

• Extra Large Filter Cartridge. Opal XL filter cartridges are fabricated from pleated reusable polyester fabric. The extra larger size cartridge has been pleated to provide 270ft2 (25.1m2) of surface area maximizing its dirt holding capacity and minimizing filter maintenance.
• Simple Maintenance. The filter cartridge is easily cleaned by hosing the pleats with a standard garden hose.
