Zodiac Natural Clarifier is a chitosan-based liquid treatment for pool water that looks cloudy, dull or affected by oils and waterline scum. It helps restore a cleaner, brighter pool appearance while supporting more effective removal of fine suspended material.
Made with naturally derived chitosan from reclaimed crustacean shells, the formula brings tiny particles together into larger groups that are easier for the pool filter to collect. It also helps manage oils, grease, scum marks and metals in the water.

How to Use
- Measure the required dose according to the pool volume and application.
- Dilute the product in a clean container of pool water.
- Apply the diluted treatment evenly around the edges of the pool.
- Run the filtration system for at least 6 hours to allow the filter to collect the grouped particles.
- After treatment, backwash the media filter or rinse the cartridge element if required to remove the additional collected debris.
Dosage & Coverage
- Cloudy pool water: Add 60mL per 10,000 litres of pool water.
- Weekly maintenance: Add 30mL per 10,000 litres of pool water.
- Heavy bather load: Add an additional dose following pool parties or periods of high pool use.
Important Usage Information
- Do not exceed the recommended dose. Too much liquid clarifier can interfere with particle grouping and make the water appear cloudier.
- If the first treatment does not achieve the desired clarity, wait approximately one week before applying another dose.
- Use Natural Clarifier for mild cloudiness and ongoing clarity care. Treat active algae, low sanitiser levels or poor water balance separately.
- Do not mix directly with other pool chemicals. Add each product separately.
Maintain free chlorine at 2–4ppm and pH at 7.2–7.6. Keep Total Alkalinity at 80–120ppm for fully tiled, pebble and plaster pools, or 125–150ppm for vinyl and fibreglass pools.
