Zodiac Pool Sparkle Sanitiser Chlorine is a quick-dissolving stabilised chlorine sanitiser for outdoor swimming pools. It helps control bacteria, microorganisms and algae, supporting cleaner pool water through regular sanitising care.

This blended Dichlor/Tetraborate formula combines stabilised chlorine with built-in clarifier, water conditioner and UV blockout. It supports longer-lasting chlorine protection outdoors while helping improve water clarity and overall water quality.

Initial dose: 100g-170g per 10,000 litres.

Always test pool water before dosing and follow the product label directions.
Pool Sparkle Sanitiser Chlorine is stabilised chlorine, so it contributes cyanuric acid to the water. If cyanuric acid levels are above 100ppm, consider using a non-stabilised chlorine.
Use care when using this product in pools with ORP probes or automated chlorinator controls. Cyanuric acid should be kept to a minimum in these systems.
Dissolve the required dose in a bucket of water, then add the solution to the pool.
Do not mix with acids or other pool chemicals.

Recommended pool levels: free chlorine 2-4ppm, combined chlorine less than 0.2ppm, pH 7.2-7.8, and cyanuric acid 10-50ppm. For ORP/probe systems, cyanuric acid should be kept under 20ppm.

Does Pool Sparkle Sanitiser Chlorine increase calcium hardness?

No. Pool Sparkle Sanitiser Chlorine is Dichlor-based and does not add calcium hardness to pool water. This makes it different from calcium hypochlorite chlorine products.

Why should cyanuric acid be checked before use?

Pool Sparkle Sanitiser Chlorine is a stabilised chlorine product, so it contributes cyanuric acid to the water. Cyanuric acid helps protect chlorine from UV loss in outdoor pools, but high levels can reduce chlorine performance. If cyanuric acid is above 100ppm, a non-stabilised chlorine such as Zodiac Pool Chlorine may be more suitable.

Can Pool Sparkle Sanitiser Chlorine be used with ORP probes or automated chlorinator controls?

Use care in pools with ORP probes or automated chlorinator controls. Stabilised chlorine adds cyanuric acid, and cyanuric acid can affect ORP readings because it changes how much active chlorine is immediately available in the water. For probe-controlled systems, cyanuric acid should be kept to a minimum, usually under 20ppm.
