Zodiac Salt Chlorinator Cleaner is a dedicated immersion treatment for dissolving calcium and scale build-up from salt chlorinator cell plates.

Calcium carbonate can form on the plates as the chlorinator generates chlorine, even on reversing cells. Removing these deposits helps the chlorinator continue generating chlorine efficiently.

How to Use

Immerse the salt chlorinator cell in the cleaning solution.
Leave the cell immersed for approximately 10 minutes, or until the foaming and bubbling stop and the cell appears clean.
Repeat the treatment if heavy calcification remains.

Important Usage Information

Do not rinse the cleaned cell in the pool, as this can return loosened scale and phosphates to the pool water.
Keep the product in its original container, upright at all times and securely stored out of reach of children. Do not mix or contaminate it with alkaline chemicals.

This product is classified as Class 8 Dangerous Goods. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and eye or face protection, and use it in an open, well-ventilated area.

No. Salt Chlorinator Cleaner removes calcification already attached to the chlorinator cell, but it does not reduce the calcium hardness level of the pool water.
