When pH and alkalinity are too high, the water can become more scale-forming, contribute to metal staining, and feel less comfortable for bathers. AquaSpa pH Reducer works as the balance-correction step, helping return the water to a more suitable operating range so the rest of the AquaSpa system can perform more effectively.
How to Use
- Test the spa water before dosing.
- Calculate the correct spa volume.
- Ensure the filtration pump is running.
- Add AquaSpa pH Reducer to the spa water at the required dose.
- Leave the cover off for at least 30 minutes after dosing.
- Retest the water before making further adjustments.

Important Usage Information
- Use AquaSpa pH Reducer only when testing shows pH and/or total alkalinity need to be lowered.
- Always adjust total alkalinity before adjusting pH.
- Do not add more than 25g per 1,000 litres at any one time.
- Add chemicals to water and never water to chemicals, and do not overdose.
- If adding other AquaSpa products, allow 30-minute intervals between each chemical addition.
For AquaSpa systems, pH is generally maintained at 7.2–7.6 and total alkalinity at 125–150ppm. AquaSpa pH Reducer is part of overall water balance management and does not replace sanitising, shock treatment, filtration care, or other balancing steps where required.
