The Optional Internet Gateway allows you to connect your Viron Connect system to your home network via Wi-Fi or Ethernet – whichever suits your setup best.

3. Wireless Touchscreen Module
The TouchScreen controller can be mounted near the equipment or installed inside your home in a convenient location – perfect for kitchen walls, hallways, or entertainment areas where the whole family can access it.
By default, connection between the TouchScreen and the Equipment Centre is made via a standard RJ12 cable. For longer distances, you can use the Remote Interface RJ12 Cable 10927 (50M, 6-wire flat).
Want a cable-free setup? Simply add the optional Wireless Transceivers, which create a reliable two-way wireless connection between the TouchScreen and your pool equipment – no trenching or wiring needed.
4. RF Remote Control Module
Take full poolside control with the RF Remote Module – a waterproof, handheld remote that lets you turn up to 8 different appliances on and off, including heaters, speed control for variable or 3-speed pumps, and 5 other appliances.

Can I install the touchscreen indoors?
Absolutely. The TouchScreen controller can be installed indoors – in a kitchen, hallway, or family area – so the whole household can access it with ease. By default, it connects to your pool equipment using an RJ12 cable (up to 50m with optional Cable 10927).
Prefer a wireless setup? Add the Wireless Touchscreen Module to create a cable-free connection between the touchscreen and your pool system — no trenching or rewiring required.
What are Favourite Modes?

Will it work with my current pool equipment?

How does the Wireless Touchscreen Module work?
The Wireless Touchscreen system includes two modules:
- Touchscreen Transceiver (Part No. 10016)
- Equipment Side Transceiver (Part No. 10017)
These must be purchased and installed as a matched pair to enable wireless communication between the touchscreen and the main controller. The touchscreen transceiver includes a 24V power pack and connects via RJ12 cable.
This setup is ideal for retrofitting in homes where running cables isn't practical.
How many devices can I control?
The Viron Connect 10 can control up to 10 powered devices and 4 motorised valves – including pumps, jets, heaters, lights, and more.
What’s the difference between the outlet types?
It has 2 constant power outlets (for devices like gas heaters), 6 programmable 10A outlets, and 2 programmable 15A outlets for higher-demand equipment.
Can it integrate with solar heating?
Yes – the Viron Connect 10 includes inbuilt solar control with both basic and advanced options.
To enable basic solar heating or control a non-Astral heater or solar pump, add the AstralPool 520146 Temperature Sensor Kit.
Is it compatible with home automation systems?
Yes, it includes input contacts for external control and integration into home automation setups.
Can I control my gas heater through the Viron Connect 10?
Yes – if you have an AstralPool IXI or JXi gas heater, you can automate and control it using the AstralPool Viron Connect 10 IXI/JXI Heater Interface (Part No. 14608). This RS-485 module enables direct communication between the heater and your Connect 10 system.
Once installed, you can manage temperature settings, schedules, and automation modes right from the touchscreen or the Connect My Pool app – no extra configuration needed.
