It’s the essential add-on for Balance, Pro, or Total Ai Mode functionality.

The included pH probe continuously senses the pool’s water chemistry and works with the chlorinator to dose acid precisely as needed – helping maintain perfect water quality and a more stable, comfortable swimming experience.

Installation Overview:

  • The sensor chamber is plumbed vertically into 50mm PVC pipe after the filter and before the chlorinator cell.
  • The pH sensor screws into the chamber port; unused ports are capped.
  • Sensor cables plug directly into the underside of the chlorinator.
  • Ensure the acid injection point is installed after the chlorinator cell – never near the sensors.

Equipment Configuration, Acid Dosing and Optional Sensor Probes

Important Notes Before Installation:

  • Pool water must be chemically balanced before sensor calibration:
    • pH: 7.2 – 7.6
    • Total Alkalinity: 80 – 120 ppm
    • Calcium Hardness: 180 – 250 ppm
  • If used alongside a chlorine (ORP) sensor, allow at least 45 minutes of pump run time before calibration.
