Does it clean the pool surface as well as the floor and walls?
Yes. AquaSense Pro covers the floor, walls, waterline, and surface as part of its full clean. Surface cleaning is included in Pro Mode (see modes below).
What are the on-device cleaning modes and sequences?
Quick: floor only
Standard: floor → walls → waterline
Pro: floor → walls → waterline → surface
ECO: floor every two days

What is the recommended water depth and pool size?
Recommended operating depth is 0.5–3 m. For pool size, up to 300 m² is typical for AquaSense Pro. In beach-entry pools, ensure the water is at least 0.5 m deep where cleaning begins and that steps/platforms are wide enough for the tracks to grip.
Can I use AquaSense Pro in a saltwater pool?
Yes. It’s safe up to 5,000 ppm salinity, which covers typical domestic salt pools. Rinse the unit with fresh water after use in salt water to help longevity.
How long does it run on a charge?
Up to 5 hours for floor cleaning and up to 9.5 hours for surface cleaning, depending on pool shape, debris load, and conditions. When the battery runs low, the robot self-parks at the waterline for easy lift-out.
How does it charge and how long does charging take?
Place the robot on the cordless charging dock in a dry area. A typical full charge takes about 3–3.5 hours. Charging time can vary with ambient temperature.
Why does the robot show as offline in the app while cleaning?
Wi-Fi signals don’t travel through water. The robot will reconnect when it surfaces or is on the dock within range. AquaSense Pro uses 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi for setup and app control.
What filtration does it use and what’s the capacity?
Dual-layer, top-access filtration captures fines down to 150 µm. The baskets are easy to remove and rinse. Total capacity is generous for heavy debris days.
How should I maintain the filters and brushes?
After each cycle, remove and rinse the baskets, then check brushes and tracks for hair, leaves, or sand. Keeping the filtration clear helps maintain strong waterflow (up to 20,800 LPH).
Does it work on curved or arc-shaped walls?
Yes. The tracked drive and strong adhesion help the robot climb and scrub curved/arc walls, then transition to the waterline for a thorough clean.
What is self-parking and automatic water release?
At the end of a cycle or on low battery, the robot surfaces and parks near a pool wall for easy lift-out. It automatically releases water to reduce weight before removal.
Can I swim while the robot is operating?
For safety and best performance, do not swim while the robot is cleaning. Turn off pool circulation during a clean to reduce currents and improve coverage.
How do I update the firmware (OTA)?
Open the Beatbot app and go to Settings → Firmware Upgrade. Keep the robot on the dock with sufficient charge and ensure a stable network during the update.
It stopped or slowed down – what should I check?
First, pause the clean and inspect for obstructions (main drain, large leaves, toys). Rinse the filter baskets, check the brush rollers and tracks, and ensure the circulation system is off during cleaning. Resume once clear.
Storage and off-season care
Store indoors on the dock, in a cool, dry place away from direct sun, rain, and frost. For extended storage, charge to about 50% and check/maintenance-charge every few months to support battery health.
