The Zodiac FreeRider FR350 iQ is a cordless robotic pool cleaner designed for larger residential pools up to 15 x 5 metres. It cleans the floor, walls and waterline without the restrictions of a power cable.
Intelligent cleaning technology and connected control give you a more flexible way to manage pool cleaning, whether you want direct onboard operation or additional control through the Fluidra Pool App.

5 Cleaning Modes with Multi-Day Cleaning
Choose Floor & Walls, Floor Only, Walls Only or Waterline cleaning to focus on the areas that need attention. Multi-Day Cleaning lets the cleaner run automatically across selected days of the week in Floor Only mode, with scheduling set through the app.
Intuitive Onboard Controls
Choose a cleaning mode and start the cleaner directly from the onboard controls. The LED status indicator also gives you a quick visual check of battery, charging and operating status without needing to open the app.
App Control
More control when you want it. The Fluidra Pool App lets you choose cleaning cycles, set Multi-Day schedules, check equipment status and receive end-of-cycle notifications directly from your phone.
Active Front & Rear Brushing

Easy Top-Access Filter

Is the Zodiac FreeRider FR350 iQ suitable for tiled pools?
Yes. The FR350 iQ is suitable for tiled and mosaic pools. If the cleaner has difficulty climbing the walls with an empty filter canister, install the supplied buoyancy kit to improve its climbing performance.
How does Multi-Day Cleaning work?
Multi-Day Cleaning lets the FR350 iQ run automatically throughout the week in Floor Only mode, with a choice of:
- 4 cleaning cycles of 45 minutes
- 3 cleaning cycles of 60 minutes
- 2 cleaning cycles of 90 minutes
The number of selected days must match the number of cleaning cycles. This feature can be scheduled one week at a time. At the end of the week, the cleaner will need to be recharged before a new Multi-Day schedule can be set.
The FR350 iQ does not need to be recharged between scheduled cleans. For best performance, remove the cleaner after each cycle, empty and rinse the filter, then return it to the pool before the next scheduled clean.
Can I use the FR350 iQ without the app?
Yes. Floor & Walls, Floor Only, Walls Only and Waterline modes can all be selected directly from the onboard controls. The Fluidra Pool App adds Multi-Day Cleaning and also lets you select cycles, check equipment status and receive end-of-cycle notifications.
What is the difference between S-Pattern and Standard Pattern navigation?
S-Pattern follows systematic passes across the pool floor for efficient coverage. Standard Pattern is better suited to more complex or free-form pool shapes and obstacles. The navigation pattern can be selected to suit the pool.
Which filter should I use?
The included 180µm filter canister is designed for everyday debris such as leaves, stones, sand and hair. For finer debris such as silt, fine dust and some algae, the optional 3µm Ultra-Fine Filter can be fitted inside the standard filter canister. The 3µm filter is sold separately.
How do I remove the cleaner from the pool?
At the end of a standard cleaning cycle, the FR350 iQ climbs to the waterline and waits for approximately 10 minutes for pickup. If connected to the app, a notification is sent during this retrieval window. If you miss it, the cleaner returns to the pool floor and can be retrieved using the included manual retrieval hook with a standard pool pole (pole not included).
What should I check if the cleaner is not climbing the walls?
Check that the filter canister is clean and that a wall-cleaning mode is selected. For tiled or mosaic pools, fit the supplied buoyancy kit if the cleaner struggles to climb with an empty filter canister. Worn tracks can also affect climbing performance.
Should I remove the FR350 iQ during chemical treatments?
Yes. Remove the cleaner from the pool during chemical treatments. After cleaning, rinse the filter canister with fresh, non-chlorinated water and allow the cleaner to dry before charging.
