Important Usage Information
- Each chemical in the pack is a separate treatment. Never mix pool chemicals together and follow the directions on each individual product label.
- Test Total Alkalinity and cyanuric acid before selecting and dosing the relevant treatment.
- Pool Salt Water Boost and UV Blockout both contribute cyanuric acid. Avoid adding stabiliser when the pool level is already sufficient.
- Use the Sparkle Clarifier Tablet only with sand or glass-media filtration. It is not suitable for cartridge filters.

Should every product in the pack be added during pool start-up?
No. Each treatment has a separate purpose and should only be used where required. Test the water first, then select the appropriate product and dose it according to its individual label directions.
Is this pack intended for saltwater pools?
It is especially well suited to saltwater pools because it includes Zodiac Pool Salt Water Boost. The Alkalinity Up Buffer, UV Blockout and Sparkle Clarifier Tablet support broader pool-water balance and clarity needs.
Why does the pack include both Pool Salt Water Boost and UV Blockout?
Pool Salt Water Boost provides stabilised chlorine sanitising with water-conditioning support. UV Blockout is a concentrated granular stabiliser used to raise the cyanuric-acid level when the pool requires additional protection from sunlight.
Can every product in the pack be used with a cartridge filter?
No. Zodiac Sparkle Clarifier Tablet is made from pressed alum and is not suitable for cartridge filters. Granular Zodiac UV Blockout can be used with a cartridge-filter system when dissolved in a bucket of water before being added to the pool.
Can the pack be used for ongoing pool maintenance?
Yes. Although it is designed as a start-up selection, the included products can also support routine pool maintenance when testing shows that alkalinity, chlorine, stabiliser or clarity treatment is required.
