Operating condition and range:

Ventilation Requirements:

All Sensa-Heat inverter heat pumps must to be installed in an outdoor/well ventilated area.

• The diagram displays the minimum outdoor ventilation area required for optimum performance.
• Locate the heat pump in an easily accessible position to ensure easy access for operation and service.
• Ensure condensation water discharged from the bottom of the heat pump has a course to freely drain away.

  Heat Demand. As most pools are filtered for 8 hours a day, extra run times are often required to maintain the water at the desired temperature. The Sensaheat heat pump is equipped with a ‘Demand Heat” function that will assist in maintaining the temperature of the pool by communicating to the H5R0-I. The controller will over-ride the filter pump when heat is called for by the heat pump which monitors the temperature within its defined run times. By this mean, the user is sure the water is always ready to bathe, day or night.

The below table is a guide for extending your swimming season (Sept-April). Many factors contribute to selecting the correct heater size, we always recommend that a sizing evaluation be completed before purchasing any heater.

These values are calculated using the average temperature, humidity and wind speed in the location listed.

Please Note: These recommendations are a guide only. The above table lists sizes for an extended season (Sept-April) with a swimming temperature of 28 degrees Celsius. Calculations are based on average pool dimensions for an in-ground pool using a cover with a run time of 10 hours a day with an average wind exposure and standard shading. Temperature loss and heat up time will vary according to the month of the year, quality of cover if installed, soil condition, shade, wind and weather conditions.
