Choose the right mode for your pool via on-unit controls or the app: Floor, Wall, Floor + Wall, Waterline, or Eco Mode. Eco Mode automatically refreshes your pool floor every 48 hours for 45 minutes – up to three times per week, keeping your water clear between swims.
• Auto Mode:
The device will clean your pool's floors and walls. When the battery level is low (the LED indicator turns solid red), the device will automatically stop cleaning and dock.
• Floor Mode:
Focused cleaning of the pool floor only, following an S-shaped route.
• Waterline Mode:
The machine will move horizontally and clean along the waterline. When running into corners or obstacles оп the pool walls, it will descend from the waterline, switch walls or bypass obstacles, and resume cleaning.
• Wall Mode:
Available via the app: the device scrubs the pool walls in an N-shaped route (floor cleaning not included).

What's the difference between the Scuba S1 Pro 2024 and 2025 versions?
While the product name and main design remain unchanged, the 2025 version introduces several key upgrades: enhanced WavePath™ 2.0 navigation for improved coverage and efficiency, new WaveLine™ 2.0 horizontal waterline cleaning for more effective lateral scrubbing, and an upgraded dual-layer 3 µm + 180 µm MicroMesh™ filtration system featuring a new integrated 3-micron filter chamber and improved internal flow design, enhancing fine-debris capture and reducing clogging. It also adds App Sync and OTA firmware updates for smarter operation and long-term reliability.
Which pool types is the Scuba S1 Pro suitable for?
The Scuba S1 Pro performs best in in-ground pools made of concrete, fiberglass, vinyl, mosaic tiles, Pebblecrete and similar finishes. It is not suitable for infinity-edge pools or beach-entry designs.
Can the Scuba S1 Pro clean steps or ledges?
The cleaner can climb steps but cannot fully clean narrow steps or shallow ledges with less than 30 cm of water above them.
Why does the cleaner automatically shut down after being turned on?
Once powered on, the Scuba S1 Pro activates its water pump every 10 seconds to detect water. If water isn’t detected after six attempts, it will shut down automatically to protect internal components. Always place it in the pool before switching it on.
Why does the cleaner stay on the pool drain for a long time?
The pool drain’s suction may temporarily hold the cleaner in place. It automatically adjusts propulsion and releases itself within about three minutes. Avoid opening or adjusting the drain while the cleaner is operating.
How do I use Eco Mode?
Eco Mode performs a 45-minute floor clean every 24–48 hours for one week (three sessions in total). You can leave the cleaner in the pool throughout the cycle. Removing or pressing a button during standby will cancel Eco Mode.
Why didn't the cleaner complete all three Eco Mode sessions?
Make sure the unit is fully charged before starting Eco Mode. If the battery is low, the cleaner may not complete all three sessions.
Why are cleaning results below expectations?
Check the filter basket and both MicroMesh filters – they may be clogged. Rinse them thoroughly after each use. If suction remains weak, inspect and clean the impeller (see the user manual). Brushes or filters that are worn may also reduce performance.
Why does debris escape after removing the cleaner from the pool?
Check the water inlet cover at the bottom of the debris bin. If it's blocked or partially open, debris may leak out. Always clean and rinse the basket after each use to prevent blockages.
Why doesn't the cleaner climb the wall?
This can occur if the treads lose grip, the filter basket is full, or the filter is blocked. Empty and rinse the basket, then restart the cleaner.
Why does the front of the cleaner lift up?
This usually means the basket or filter is clogged. Rinse the debris bin thoroughly with a garden hose or pressure sprayer before the next use.
Can I control the cleaner through the Aiper App?
Yes. The Aiper App allows you to check battery status, view cleaning history, switch between modes, and install firmware updates. App control works while the unit is out of the water.
Why can’t I connect to the Aiper App?
Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network (5 GHz is not supported). Turn on Bluetooth and keep the phone within 6 m of the cleaner. The app only connects when the cleaner is out of the water and unplugged.
