Key Features
- Cordless and Easy to Use. Ditch the cord, and enjoy portability. The Scuba SE is completely cordless, making it lighter, more portable, and easier to store.

- Hydro Dynamic Design Enhances Performance. The Scuba SE’s hydrodynamic design allows the device to flow through your pool as it propels across the pool floor picking up dirt and debris. The design allows the Scuba SE to use less power in propulsion and dedicate that power to its cleaning capabilities. While other bulky corded cleaners consume additional power to simply move, the Scuba SE is designed to utilize its maximum potential to clean your pool's floor and continue cleaning for a full 90 minutes.

- Powerful Motor. The Scuba SE’s dual-drive motors generate up to 20 GPM (75 LPM) of suction and filtration. With more power and more filtration, your pool will be cleaner, faster. To store all the debris from even the toughest cleaning jobs, the Scuba SE is equipped with a two-liter filter box that stores everything collected by your pool cleaner.

- Energy Efficient. 90 minutes of cleaning on only a three hour charge.
- Cleaning Performance. This small but mighty pool cleaner is an aquatic workhorse, cleaning for up to 90 minutes and providing maximum coverage of your pool floor. A fantastic value for pools of up to 80 m2.

- One-Click Activation. Hate doing chores? Aiper understands, and they designed the Scuba SE to make cleaning effortless. With its sleek, simple one-click activation, just turn it on, place it in your pool, and witness cleaning perfection in action.

- Audio Alert System. The easy-to-understand audio alters ensure Scuba SE owners will always know the status of their device, no matter what.
- Low Battery Alert. The device docks by the pool edge, with the buzzer beeping intermittently. Beeps for 5 mins (beep for 2s intermittently).
- Stuck Impeller Alert. The buzzer beeps intermittently. Beeps for 5 min (beep for 1s intermittently).
- Water Damage Alert. The buzzer beeps intermittently. Beeps for 5 min (beep for 5s intermittently).
- Auto-Parking. There's no need to dive in to retrieve a dead device. The Scuba SE offers simplicity and convenience with its auto-parking feature. When it's done cleaning or the battery is low, the Scuba SE automatically parks near the pool's edge, ensuring easy retrieval without getting wet.

- Quick Drainage. The Scuba SE features an enhanced water purging system, efficiently draining 80% of stored water within 15 seconds. This makes retrieving and storing the device easier than ever, saving you time and effort while reducing maintenance.

Frequently Asked Questions
What should I do if the cleaner doesn’t start when placed in the water?
- Make sure it’s fully charged – the charger light should be green before use (red means it’s still charging).
- Press the power button until you hear a beep, then place the cleaner straight into the water within about 30 seconds.
- Check that the charging port cover is fully closed and the unit is the right way up.
- Confirm the pool meets the operating requirements: flat floor, depth 0.5–3 m, size up to 80 m².
- Remove the cleaner, rinse the filter tray and bottom inlets to clear any blockages, turn it off, then on again and re-submerge.
Why is my Scuba SE beeping and parking at the pool edge?
- Low battery: the cleaner will drive to the nearest wall or pool edge and stop, with intermittent beeps (about 2 seconds on/off for several minutes). Lift it out, turn it off, clean the filter tray and put it on charge.
- Other alerts: different beep patterns can indicate a stuck impeller or water-damage alert. If you suspect this, remove the cleaner, check for blockages or visible leaks and do not continue using it until the issue is resolved.
Can the Scuba SE be used while the pool pump or filter system is running?
Is it safe to leave the cleaner in the pool after it finishes its cycle?
- When you hear the beeping or see it parked at the wall, remove it using the hook or handle.
- Turn it off, open the top shell, empty and rinse the filter tray and chassis, then allow excess water to drain.
- Let the unit dry in the shade before charging or storing.
- Always remove the cleaner before swimming, shocking the pool, or adding large doses of chemicals.
What are the correct water chemistry limits for using the Scuba SE?
- Water temperature: 10–35 °C (50–95 °F)
- pH: 7.0–7.4
- Free chlorine: up to 4 ppm
- Salt (NaCl): up to 5,000 ppm
What should I check if the cleaner isn’t collecting debris effectively?
- Filter tray: open the latches, lift off the top shell and remove the filter tray. Rinse it thoroughly from the outside in so debris doesn’t dry and block the mesh.
- Suction inlets: check the openings on the underside for leaves, twigs, or toys caught in them.
- Brushes: make sure both bottom brushes are installed, not worn flat or missing; you should hear a click when they lock in.
- Pool conditions: very fine dust or silt may need extra help from your main filtration system or a manual vacuum.
- Pool size: confirm the pool is within the 80 m² size limit. Larger pools may need two cycles or repositioning the cleaner between runs.
How often should I clean the filter tray?
- Remove the tray, rinse it thoroughly with clean water and flush debris from the mesh.
- Rinse the inside of the chassis and pump inlet to remove any sand or grit.
- Allow excess water to drain before reassembling.
How do I properly store the cleaner for long periods?
- Rinse the cleaner and filter tray thoroughly and let everything dry completely.
- Store the unit in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources.
- Do not leave the cleaner sitting in pool water or outdoors exposed to weather.
- For storage longer than a few weeks, charge the battery to about 40–60% and top it up every 3 months using the original Aiper charger.
Can the Scuba SE operate in saltwater pools, and what is the maximum salt level?
- Maximum salt level (NaCl): 5,000 ppm.
Why is the cleaner not moving or moving very slowly on the pool floor?
- Low battery: if the charge is nearly exhausted, the cleaner may slow down before parking at the edge. Fully recharge before the next use.
- Clogged filter or inlet: a blocked tray restricts flow and reduces propulsion. Remove and rinse the tray and inlets thoroughly.
- Debris in brushes or wheels: hair or string wrapped around the wheels/brushes can drag. Inspect the wheel assemblies and brush bars and remove any tangles.
- Pool surface or slope: the Scuba SE is meant for flat-floored pools. Steep slopes, wrinkles in liners or rough steps can slow or stall the unit.
- Water conditions: very cold water or heavy scale/algae can affect traction and performance.
Can I use the Scuba SE in very cold or very warm water?
- Below about 10 °C, the water is too cold for the seals and battery, and performance may drop sharply.
- Above 35 °C, the motor and battery can overheat and may be damaged.
Why does the cleaner not sink or take a long time to start moving?
- After pressing the power button and hearing the beep, submerge the cleaner slowly and tilt it to each side to release trapped air from the casing.
- Make sure it is fully underwater and sitting flat on the pool floor before you let go.
- Check that the filter tray and top shell are correctly seated, as mis-assembly can trap air or affect balance.
- Ensure the water depth is at least 0.5 m and that you are not placing the unit on steps or very shallow shelves.
