It can climb steps but may not fully clean narrow or shallow ledges with less than 30 cm of water above them.
How long can they run on a single charge?
Scuba S1 Pro operates up to 180 minutes on a 4-hour charge. Surfer S1 runs up to 12 hours on solar power or 10 hours when charged via DC adapter.
How does Eco Mode work on the Scuba S1 Pro?
Eco Mode performs a 45-minute floor clean every 24–48 hours for one week (three sessions). You can leave it in the pool the entire time – it will self-activate and park automatically.
Does the Surfer S1 charge automatically?
Yes. It charges through its built-in solar panel while operating. If sunlight is low, use the included DC charger to top it up and continue cleaning.
How does WavePath 2.0 navigation improve cleaning?

Why does the Scuba S1 Pro stop or park near the wall?
This is the self-parking feature. When cleaning finishes or the battery is low, it moves close to the wall for easy lift-out using the retrieval hook.
Why is debris leaking when removing the Scuba S1 Pro?
Check that the inlet cover under the debris bin is clear and fully closed. Always empty and rinse the basket after each cycle to maintain suction performance.
Can both devices be controlled through the Aiper App?
Yes. The app allows you to start/stop, check battery level, view cleaning logs, receive alerts, and manually control the Surfer S1. App control for the Scuba S1 Pro works when it’s out of the water.
What if the Surfer S1 stops or circles in one spot?
Remove it from the pool and clear any leaves or hair from the propellers. Clean the debris basket and impeller before restarting.
How should the devices be maintained or stored?
After each use, rinse both cleaners and let them dry. For off-season storage, power them off, charge fully, and store indoors in a cool, dry place. Give the Surfer S1 a DC top-up every two months.
